We had such a fantastic afternoon at the first west London CWISL CWIZZ ,which took place on Wednesday 4th May at Latymer Upper School Hammersmith

                    and Latymer Upper School.      


There was also  an opportunity to buy our books from Kew Bookshop.

We had a totally brillant festival at Brunel University 5 - 6th November 2015

11th-13th June 2015

ShoutSouth! 2015 took place at London SouthBank University.

100 children from years 5-7  attended our three day creative writing festival.


There was also an opportunity to buy our books from the  wonderful Pea Green Boat Books.

Writing and illustrations from the festival will be published in ShoutAbout - our onine magazine

CWISL authors and illustrators, Chitra Soundar, Jackie Marchant, Lydia Syson, Bridget Marzo, Sarah Mussi, Margaret Bateson-Hill, Elli Woollard, Anne-Marie Perks and Sam Hepburn visited Minet and Durning Libraries, Lambeth to help them celebrate National Libraries Day - 6th February. They ran a series of workshops - storytelling, writing, book making and held an author panel. CWISL especially wanted to support Lambeth Libraries which are facing further closures and cuts to the service.

9th April 2106

CWISL authors and illustrators, Lydia Syson,   Margaret Bateson-Hill, Mo O'Hara, Jo Franklin Sam Hepburn and Amanda Lillywhite attended the march in support of Carnegie Library and in protest of against Lambeth Council's decision to close libraries across the borough and reopen them as gyms with bookshelves.

There was a great turn out!
