Young Voices Panel
The Polka Children's Theatre in Wimbledon is looking for young panellists
(8-13 years) who would like to be involved in a number of projects coming up next year. They will have access to resources within the theatre, be able to watch in on rehearsals; meet the cast and creative team, and give vital feedback on how Polka is run.
They will also be asked to write reviews and blogs of Polka shows which will be published on Polka’s website and other relevant sites and publications ( including our own ShoutAbout! Magazine).

Writing the World
Writing competitions are always an exciting opportunity for young writers to hone and practise their skills!
CWISL are pleased to announce that Polka Children's Theatre are running their Writing the World competition
For competition details visit www.polkatheatre.com/editorial/writing-the-world from January13 2012 for full competition guidlines and writing tips to get started.
There are three catagories:
Years 1 & 2 (storyboard of 6 pictures with a caption beneath each one)
Years 3 & 4 (shortstory up to 500 words)
Years 5 & 6 (short story of up to 1000 words)
The winning entries will also be published in our on-line magazine ShoutAbout!
